“Portas” is a composition for euphonium and piano, created to honor the memory of Daniel Portas, the Principal Trombone of the Santiago Band, conductor, and pedagogue. The euphonium version is dedicated to Bastien Baumet, International Euphonium Soloist, Besson Artist and Teacher at the Lyon Conservatory.
