Metamorphosis for solo trumpet (in Bb or C) with piano accompaniment composed by Ricardo Mollá. This piece was dedicated to and commissioned by Adán Delgado, solo trumpet of the National Orchestra of Spain (ONE), for the International Trumpet Festival 2023.

Additional information about Metamorphosis

Just like my last pieces, “Metamorphosis” for trumpet and piano is influenced by the emergence of artificial intelligence. This composition, dedicated to and commissioned by the solo trumpet of the National Orchestra of Spain, Adán Delgado, has two distinct parts: “Sentience” and “Coven of Nodes.” Both reference the myth of technological singularity.
