About Sighisoara
This composition is inspired by the medieval city of Sighișoara and depicts a walk through this enigmatic place:
“Under the golden light of the sunset, the cobbled streets of Sighișoara breathe an ancient air, and the swallows sweep across the sky in swift circles, tracing arcs over the slanted rooftops. Their brief cries seem to converse with the distant chime of the Clock Tower, as if announcing the end of the day to the old walls of the citadel. The air smells of damp stone and aged wood, and a gentle breeze carries the echo of a melody played somewhere in a hidden square. Walking through the narrow streets, one feels that every shadow holds a secret, that every ochre or blue façade has witnessed centuries of silence. And as the sun sinks behind the hills, the swallows vanish in one last flight, leaving behind a murmur that blends with the dusk: the eternal breath of the medieval city.”
