This piece was dedicated and premiered by Martin Schippers (tenor and bass trombone of The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) at the International Trombone Festival 2022 in Arkansas. The Overton Window is a piece that tries to describe through “the Overton Window” metaphor how society struggles to become closer to good ideas and evolve as a society.
