Additional Information about To the Moon

To the Moon takes the listener on a musical journey inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision and the development of Bitcoin as a tool for decentralization and individual freedom. The work brings together two of Martin Schippers’ great passions—space and blockchain technology—in a journey that moves from the initial spark of an idea to its expansion and consolidation as a transformative concept.

I. Satoshi’s Dream
Represents the birth of a revolutionary idea. From the initial intuition to the construction of a new system, the music reflects the emergence of Bitcoin as an alternative to the centralized model.

II. Serenade in the Metaverse
A more intimate and emotional movement exploring the connection between the digital and the human. Dedicated to Martin Schippers’ uncle, Hans, as a tribute to his memory following a long illness, it adds a personal dimension in which technology and remembrance intertwine.

III. Bone Run
Symbolizes the expansion and consolidation of the system. Through sections such as Revolutionary Whitepaper and Peer-to-Peer Vision, the music moves toward an energetic conclusion celebrating individual freedom and decentralization.
