Description
Love Valley is a work for solo trumpet and wind band by Ricardo Mollá, dedicated to Elmer Churampi, Principal Trumpet of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The piece was premiered by Churampi himself together with the Royal Military Band “Johan Willem Friso”, under the baton of Frans-Aert Burghgraef, at the Numskull Brass Festival Caudete 2025.

Soloist: solo trumpet in B-flat and C.
Woodwinds: piccolo, flute I-II, oboe I-II, clarinet in B-flat I, clarinet in B-flat II, clarinet in B-flat III, bass clarinet in B-flat, alto saxophone I-II, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone and bassoon I-II.
Brass: horn I-II, horn III-IV, trumpet in B-flat I, trumpet in B-flat II-III, trombone I-II, bass trombone, euphonium I-II and tuba.
Percussion: timpani; percussion I: glockenspiel, vibraphone and triangle; percussion II: suspended cymbal, tam-tam and sleigh bells; percussion III: wind chimes, tubular bells, wood block and tambourine.
Other instruments: harp.
