Description

Belén is a lullaby for horn and brass ensemble composed by Ricardo Mollá.
This version is dedicated to Ionut Podgoreanu, principal horn of the Gran Teatre del Liceu Symphony Orchestra.
Its premiere in the brass ensemble arrangement took place at the Numskull Brass Festival Caudete 2025, performed by the Torrent Brass Ensemble under the direction of Ricardo Mollá.

More information about Belén
The original version was written for euphonium and dedicated to Bastien Baumet, professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon. The piece was premiered by Bastien Baumet himself at the Numskull Brass Festival Caudete 2022, together with Euskadi Brass. Later, the Asian premiere was again performed by Bastien Baumet during the JEJU International Brass Competition, accompanied by the Brass Ensemble of Belgium.
