Description
Diamond Hands is a work for tenor trombone, bass trombone, and piano (originally written for trumpet, trombone, and piano). The piece was initially commissioned and dedicated to Miroslav Petkov (principal trumpet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Martin Schippers (tenor and bass trombone of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), and the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia. The version for tenor trombone and bass trombone is dedicated to Vicente Climent (principal trombone) and Justin B. Clark (bass trombone), members of the Bern Symphony Orchestra.
The digital purchase of this score includes not only the sheet music with digital signature and password protection, but also a wide variety of Play-Along audio tracks (with and without metronome) to rehearse with the piano accompaniment.

This composition is inspired by blockchain technology as well as the emerging space race, whose ultimate goal is to make humankind an interplanetary species. The original version for trumpet, trombone, and orchestra was premiered by Miroslav Petkov (principal trumpet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra), Martin Schippers (tenor and bass trombone of the same orchestra), and the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia during the closing concert of the Numskull Brass Festival Caudete 2021.
